I had customized accessibility functions that i needed well for accessibility. And now i cannot put them back as they removed theses customizable options.

I'm coming from iphone just got my first samsung I've been reading some bad reviews about ui7 I think I'm going to wait until they fix all the bugs before I update

The update will eventually force itself on your phone. But until you're ready, you can go to settings, software update and change auto-download to "never."

Much of the negative reaction you're seeing is people not liking change. Granted, it's a big change. You may want to watch a few YT videos about what's changed in One UI 7 so you can know what to expect. You can then update when you're ready.

Any idea on how to get that feature? My phone will download it no matter what, then you can't wait. It prompts you three times to install and you have the option to delay each time. Fourth time, it says "restarting in 10 seconds". It's made me miss alarms and events before. The "Auto Download" menu here does not have any additional options besides Wifi + cellular or Wifi only.

As @requa said below, your carrier may have removed that option. I have an unlocked device, so no carrier shenanigans.

The negative reaction is about having unnecessary change forced on us, with new updated ways to steal our data, changing our settings to allow less provacy, push AI down our throats, taking away autonomy and control over the device which is supposed to be very customizable, and further en**bleep**tifying every bit of tech for no good reason other than greed.

It pisses me off, and its not because i "dont like" change.

Mine has those options plus an option for "Never." It's possible your carrier removed that option.

Dang. I don't have that option either. I have unlocked. I only have the toggle. So maybe that's that.
