ComputersI purchased a Galaxy Book5 PRO 360 3 weeks ago, pay by my employer. I decided to get the Samsung Care+ incase it ever gets dropped or damaged. after the purchase, i was immediately emailed an "Order Confirmation" which shows the product ordered: "Care+ Laptop Tier4 2years SinglePay". It also shows the amount: $215.42.
What it DOES NOT SHOW is WHAT Device that it is covering. the last 4 or the type of card used for payment. (it literally says "Payment Method -------- NA"
How am I supposed to present this to my accounting department and prove that this Samsung Care+ was purchased for my company laptop and not for my Uncle Joe's Laptop. how can I even prove that this was purchase with my card? (edit: as i was typing this email, I did get a plan activation email that shows the device covered but this says nothing about payment or purchase.)
Come on Samsung. how hard is it to generate a proper invoice/receipt for purchase? you're a multi-billion dollar company! this is the most basic of services. please provide your paying customers a proper purchase receipt!

ComputersI am sure you can submit your credit card statement with the amount showing on the same date the care + package was purchased and attach that to your other paperwork (the confirmation, the plain text activation). Accounting departments are pretty savvy about things like that. Is there nothing in your Samsung account with your purchase history? I don't know, I never purchased anything directly from Samsung.

ComputersYes, I will end up having to do this. but the point of my post, is that this Samsung Electronics. Not Joe's Custom Software.

ComputersI understand that, and I am not disagreeing with you. A company such as Samsung should give an itemized breakdown of what was purchased and in the case of a care package, the device it was purchased for along with all relevant information, such as commencement and end dates. Even Joe's Custom Software would do this. BestBuy does it, MicroCenter does it, Home Depot does it. Everyone does it except, apparently, Samsung.

ComputersIt isn't there. I just checked again. it was purchased about 13 hours ago. perhaps it is normal to have a delay in showing up in the order page. I will check again in the morning.

Computers@AlphaGeek Sorry but I've never seen a Samsung Care+ receipt indicate which device the charge is applying to. If you call 1-866-371-9501 and ask they may be able to email you a detailed receipt. I have called before and confirmed which device a payment was for.

ComputersEXACTLY!! I completely agree with you. it is extremely frustrating, because i have 5 Samsung devices that are Samsung Care+ protected and they all show up in the order page each month the same. (except some are different $ amounts) what makes it worse is when i need to cancel one because i upgraded my phone or watch or something i have no way to know which one is for which product.
